Tesla Solutions recently announced the creation of a dedicated training centre at London Oxford Airport
Tesla Solutions, which is currently the UK’s largest independent lessor of Diamond aircraft to flight schools, has now entered the flight simulator training market. The company, which owns twelve DA40s and fifteen DA42s, recently announced the creation of a dedicated training centre at London Oxford Airport.
The new facility will feature four FSTDs: a Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320, and two Diamond DA42 devices, and include classrooms and briefing rooms. The simulators will be available on a ‘dry hire’ basis to airlines, flight schools and individual pilots, providing a ‘flexible simulator hire solution’.
Tesla Solutions founder John Hardcastle commented, “I listened carefully to my customers and recognised that as well as flexible aircraft leases, they have also expressed a need for flexible simulator hire solutions to support their pilot training courses. We are delighted to be bringing this significant increase in available, flexible simulator capacity to the UK pilot training industry.”
