Three remarkable figures from the world of aviation will share their extraordinary stories at a special fundraising afternoon in London this November.

“The Adventure of Flight”, taking place at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington on Sunday 1 November, the afternoon will feature John McFall, John Romain MBE and Jon Hunt, better known as The Flying Reporter.

The event is raising funds for Aerobility, the charity that helps people with disabilities experience the freedom and excitement of flying. All profits will be donated to support its work making aviation more accessible.

McFall, a former Paralympic medallist, surgeon, astronaut reserve and disabled pilot, will discuss his remarkable journey pushing the boundaries of human potential. Romain, an acclaimed aircraft restorer, display pilot and movie pilot, will offer an insight into his career, including flying for Hollywood productions such as Memphis Belle, Dunkirk and more recently Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. Jon Hunt, a former BBC reporter and presenter of the popular aviation YouTube channel “The Flying Reporter”, will share experiences from his recent ambitious transatlantic flying adventure to Oshkosh.

The afternoon promises a fascinating mix of personal stories, aviation expertise and tales of determination, precision and adventure.

Tickets cost £35, with the event running from 2.30pm to 5pm.
