The Royal Aeronautical Society’s annual Light Aircraft Design Conference will take place on Monday 10 November 2025, both at the Society’s London headquarters and online.

Bringing together designers, engineers, builders and enthusiasts, the event offers a packed programme exploring the latest in light aircraft technology and innovation. Topics will range from alternative approaches to CS-23 design standards and developments in E Conditions, to seaplane design, flight testing, and concept aircraft case studies.

Speakers include Lucy Wootton and Miti Ghosh of the LAA, James Labouchere of Ocean Aircraft, and Dr Bill Brooks of SkyFly, with sessions chaired by Professor Michael Jump, Chair of the RAeS General Aviation Specialist Group.

The day also features presentations from the Light Aircraft Design Competition finalists and an update on the Society’s Design, Build, Fly initiative—encouraging the next generation of aircraft designers.
