World Directory of Light Aviation. 2016-2017

This guide covers aircraft from microlights to certified, homebuilts to helicoptors, organised into relevant sections and a standardised display of information on power plant, fuel load, number of seats, MTOW, top speed etc.

However, the first stop for information today is usually the internet — either a manufacturer’s website or forums for the opinions of whose who know or think they know. I am unsure what purpose a printed guide serves.

There are indeed details of aircraft importers and lists of suppliers of rotors, wheels, propellers and other services but I doubt this directory would be the first place most pilots or homebuilders would turn to when looking for aircraft information.
