Trig Avionics has been granted a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its TX56 Navigation/Communications unit. The STC will enable wider installation options across Europe, allowing the installation of the TX56 family for both VFR and IFR operations. Trig’s TX56, TX56A, TX57 and TX57A Nav/Com units are all covered by the STC, which includes an Approved Model List (AML) for around 650 general aviation fixed-wing types.
