The online Armchair Airshow will feature a variety of air displays and talks
On Saturday 28 May the Armchair Airshow will return, bringing ‘the thrill of aviation to screens everywhere, taking the viewer from the seat of their armchair and into the skies, with exclusive access to aircraft, air display and pilots’, said Aerobility. The show will be broadcasted online from Biggin Hill and will feature, among others, The Blades display team and aircraft from the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar.
Mike Miller-Smith, the charity’s CEO, said: “Having developed the Armchair Airshow in response to the pandemic, it has taken-on its own life and embedded itself in the national airshow calendar. With support from organisations such as Aerobytes, London Biggin Hill Airport and the Department for Transport, the show continues to grow every year, providing inspiration, through aviation, to the tens of thousands of people that tune in.” To watch the show, viewers simply need to visit www.ArmchairAirshow.com on 28 May.
