Now, Christmas may be over and everyone is looking ahead to a great year, but we just had to share this fantastic message sent over the festive period

By Mike Jerram

REMOS Aircraft pilots Christian Majunke and Paul Foltz found a novel way to send their season’s greetings.

They plotted a mission profile over the German countryside so they would fly a course, at 1,800ft, that spelled out a special festive message when recorded on radar.

‘It was a lot of fun flying over a track like that on a map,’ said Majunke, ‘and we sure gave the flight controls a workout, but the radar track clearly shows the results of our efforts with ‘invisible’ skywriting!’
