Airbus has finalised a contract for the purchase of ten H125 helicopters for the US Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations. These aircraft will be used to support critical law enforcement, border security, and public safety missions across the United States.
The helicopters will be manufactured at Airbus’ facility in Columbus, Mississippi, and incorporate advanced safety features, such as dual-channel full authority digital engine control (FADEC), engine data recorder, and dual hydraulic flight control system as standard equipment.
