Despite cold conditions, Tecnam took deposits for two of its P2008 Turbos during the US Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida.

The first delivery is expected to take place in January, with the second following around ninety days later.

The P2008 Turbo is the turbocharged version of the P2008 VLA/LSA, and is powered by the Rotax 914. This option for the P2008 increases the horsepower to 115hp, and brings the aircraft to a true 120kt cruise speed.
