Peter Ronfell of TL-Sting (UK) Ltd has confirmed that a demonstrator of the latest aircraft from Czech manufacturer TL-Ultralight, the Sparker 600kg microlight, will be coming to the UK.
A side-by-side two-seater, the Sparker is constructed primarily from carbon fibre and Kevlar, and features a low-wing and a retractable tricycle undercarriage.
The engine is a 100hp Rotax 912ULS, while the avionics include three large Garmin G3X Touch displays with synthetic vision.
The aircraft is a fast tourer, the published cruise speed being 162kt with a useful load of 250kg (stall speed is 44kt). Initial reports suggest the sale price will be in the region of £185,000 plus VAT.
