The Shuttleworth Collection has announced the dates of its 2014 airshows

The Shuttleworth Collection, based at Old Warden near Biggleswade, will host eleven themed airshows between May and October, including two evening airshows where visitors can see unique, vintage aircraft take to the skies. The Collection also holds a large number of flying WWI aircraft and the airshows offer the perfect opportunity to see these majestic aeroplanes in flight.

The Collection is open to visitors all year round, with its signature airshows attracting visitors from around the UK. In addition to the popular Military Pageant and Close-Up-and-Personal (formerly Meet the Pilots) shows, this year it will host a WWI Commemoration Airshow in August as well as an Edwardian Picnic & Evening Airshow.

Una Watts, general manager of the Shuttleworth Trust said; “We’re looking forward to all of the exciting airshows that we have planned for 2014 and expect to see a great turnout in line with previous years. With free entry to children aged under 16 years, it really is a great day out for families.”
