The R66 Turbine has received approval from Russia’s IAC AR.
The certification process – which started in November 2010 – was completed shortly after the FAA’s approval of the ELOS (Equivalent Level of Safety) for the R66 hydraulic control system.
To date, Robinson has received 47 R66 orders from Russia. Of these, 22 are awaiting export, and a further eighteen are currently in production.
