There is just one week left to respond to plans by EDF to build a wind farm close to Popham Airfield.
The site is under threat from developments on either side of its runways.
French company EDF has submitted plans to construct fourteen wind turbines – each up to 126m high – at Bullington Cross, three kilometers to the west of the airfield.
Another major development at Woodmancott Down, four kilometers to the south east of Popham, proposes eight 135m turbines.
The closing date for responses to the proposed EDF development is 24 May. For more information visit www.keephampshiregreen.org
