Philip Hall, the CEO of the Light Aircraft Association (LAA) has announced his intention of leaving the job later this year in order to pursue new business opportunities. Hall joined the Association in September 2013 from owning and operating several businesses in the technology and financial services industries. He has been an enthusiastic pilot since he was a teenager and flies gliders, microlights and fixed wing aircraft. His tenure at the LAA has been at an important time in its development and growth.

Brian Davies, Chairman of the LAA says, “Phil has brought fresh thinking to our association and helped to refocus our efforts to deliver

an improved service to our members. I will be sorry to see him leave and he goes with our best wishes for his future.

“Although Phil will not be leaving until later this year the search is already underway to find a new CEO to build on his initiatives.”
