The Gypsy Moth used in the 1985 Oscar-winning film ‘Out of Africa’ is due to be auctioned.
G-AAMY – a 1929 De Havilland DH 60GMW Gipsy Moth named after the pioneering British pilot, Amy Johnson – was flown by Robert Redford over the Kenyan savannah.
It will go on sale at a Bonhams auction in Paris during February, where bidding is expected to be in excess of �120,000.
