Pilots need to gain prior permission beforehand if they intend to use the Lincolnshire airfield
The North Coates Flying Club, who operates the airfield, has issued a reminder that the use of North Coates is PPR (Prior Permission Required).

From Monday to Friday, all aircraft must also contact Donna Nook range on 122.75 MHz when 15nm or five minutes away to ascertain their current status.
Pilots should let the range know when they have landed by ringing 01507 358 716.
“You would not want an unannounced close encounter with the military hardware to be found entering and leaving the range at low level!” said Richard Carbutt of the North Coates Flying Club.
