The award is named after Colin Dodds, the ex-RAF and historic aircraft display pilot

The Historic Aircraft Association (HAA) is seeking nominations for the Colin Dodds Memorial Trophy, to be given to the Young Historic Pilot of The Year. The trophy, which will be awarded for the first time this year, will go to a young aviator (between eighteen and thirty years of age) who flies historic aircraft types.

The award is named after Squadron Leader Colin Dodds, the ex-RAF pilot, Vulcan captain and historic aircraft display pilot who passed away in 2020. Nominations can be made to Howard Cook of the HAA Management Committee by emailing petahoward@aol.com
