French simulator manufacturer ALSIM recently unveiled its latest product, the AL3X, a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) simulator. Developed around the popular Garmin G3X Touch flight deck and powered by a flight model that simulates the near-ubiquitous Rotax 912 engine, the AL3X is expected to accurately reflect the performance and handling characteristics found across a broad range of modern LSA aircraft, including the Tecnam P-Mentor, Pipistrel Alpha Trainer, and Van’s RV-14.
