Taking place in June 2019, the event will be an exceptional gathering of WWII liaison aircraft, all authentic veterans that took part in the 1939-45 conflict

Preparations have already started for the D-Day 75th anniversary, that will be celebrated in June 2019 and will be an exceptional commemoration.

This quarter of century anniversary is certainly the last one to which WWII veterans will be able to participate.

From the 6th to the 9th June 2019, the association L-Birds back to Normandy will display an unprecedented gathering of liaison aircraft, called L-Birds (L for Liaison).

More than fifty liaison aircraft, all true warbirds, carrying their historical colors of 1939-45, will fly to Normandy from all parts of Europe.

For more information as it is released and to see what aircraft are taking part, please visit the L-Birds website.
