Jersey-based aviation charity Helping Wings is offering a flying scholarship aimed at local people with disabilities.
The organisation is offering a bursary worth around £1,600 towards the cost of ten hours worth of flight training at the Jersey Aero Club.
The student who receives the scholarship will only need to pay for their aviation fuel and membership of the Jersey Aero Club.
Additionally, the charity will be paying for an initial flying lesson for eight disabled people during 2013.
