Garmin has introduced new features to its GTN GPS/NAV/COM series aimed at helicopter operations.

According to the company, improvements include environmental qualification that meets helicopter vibration and temperature testing standards, optional Night Vision Goggle (NVG) compatibility and an optional built-in Helicopter Terrain Awareness and Warning System (HTAWS).
