If you are planning to fly a long distance to get to AeroExpo, you could be in with the chance of a prize.

AeroExpo UK has partnered with aviation art specialists Friendly Skies to award the pilot who has travelled the furthest distance a hand-made copper wire aircraft model in the shape of the Mk XIX variant of the Griffon-powered Supermarine Spitfire. As the very specific spec implies, this model is accurate to the original in every detail. It is presented in a frame with a 45 degree mirror to create the visual effect of a second model at 90 degrees to the original. This produces a head-on reflection of a plan-view mounted model.

The Friendly Skies representatives will be on Stand C21 showing other examples of their work.
