The European Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA’s) Management Board has announced that Patrick Ky has been appointed as Executive Director.

The appointment of Mr Ky – who is currently Executive Director of the Single European Sky Air Traffic Management Research (SESAR) Joint Undertaking – will be effective from 1 September 2013.

He will succeed Patrick Goudou, who has been Executive Director of EASA since its creation in September 2003 and whose term ends on 31 August 2013.
