ABOVE: Cirrus says it already has more than a hundred orders for TRAC10 trainers
Cirrus recently revealed its latest aircraft, the TRAC10, which the company describes as a ‘newly designed flight training aircraft, purpose-built for professional, collegiate, and career-oriented flight schools’. The TRAC10 features a turbocharged Rotax 916 iSc FADEC engine, a spacious three-seat interior, Garmin flight deck, and Cirrus Airframe Parachute System.
The TRAC10 will be manufactured at Cirrus’s headquarters in Duluth, Minnesota, with domestic deliveries beginning in 2027 and international deliveries following in 2028. Cirrus says it has already secured orders totalling more than one hundred TRAC10 aircraft from thirteen professional flying schools worldwide.
Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer at Cirrus, said “by drawing on more than thirty years of designing, building, and supporting aircraft worldwide, the TRAC10 is our most deliberate answer yet to what professional flight schools need to succeed.”
