Cambridge Airport has appointed David Cran as its new Airport Manager.
Mr Cran has worked in the civil aviation industry for more than 23 years, and started his career as an Air Traffic Control Assistant.
Whilst working at Stansted Air Traffic Control he was part of the team that implement the UK’s first Electronic Flight Progress Strip System and was one of only two Met Observer examiners for NATS.
He has also taught RT phraseology to microlight pilots and worked as a Flight Information Service Office for Imperial War Museum at Duxford.
