The CAA has launched a consultation about proposals to establish additional Class E airspace in the vicinity of the Aberdeen Control Zone/Control Area.
The organisation says that the possible need for the airspace classification change emerged from an earlier consultation setting out its intention to replace Class F airspace with Class E airspace.
Were the changes approved, the replacement of Class F would be completed no later than AIRAC 12/2014 (13 November 2014).
The consultation runs until 4 November 2013. Details on how to participate can be found at www.caa.co.uk/consultations.
