The Breitling Jet Team performed in front of crowds – including the Malaysian royal family – at Subang Skypark, Kuala Lumpur, last week.
The 25-minute performance included synchronised rolls, loops and crossovers, with the team flying in formation less than three meters apart and at speeds of up to 750km/h. They were joined in the display by Malaysian Air force team – the ‘Smokey Bandits’.
Based in Dijon, France, the team is made up of seven Aero L-39C Albatros jets. Malaysia is the fourth stop on its first South East Asia tour. The team will leave for Thailand before ending its tour in ZhuHai, China.
