The story of how the Bristol Blenheim I featured in the May edition of Pilot was restored to flying condition will be told at the Historic Aircraft Association’s Annual Symposium, to be held at the RAF Museum Hendon on Saturday 31 October.
Including presentations on subjects as interesting and diverse as RAF Hunter operations in Aden, ‘Grandad’s Bristol Scout’ (the fabulous, rotary-engined flying replica seen at the LAA Rally) and a celebration of ninety years of the de Havilland Moth, the HAA Symposium is one of our go-to events of the year.
Admission to the all-day event, which starts at 9.45, is by ticket only – HAA members £20, non-members £30. The price includes refreshment on arrival and what has traditionally been an especially good private buffet lunch.
