Ultimate Aerobatics, in partnership with Total UK Aviation Fuels, is offering scholarships for two pilots

The successful applicants will receive training during 2020 giving them the opportunity to achieve their aerobatic dreams and take the first step on their journey to aerobatic competition.

The two scholarships training will result in the pilots achieving the EASA Aerobatic Rating, this will then allow them to compete at British Aerobatic competitions. The aerobatic rating requires a minimum of five hours of aerobatic training and will be done in either Ultimate Aerobatics’ Pitts Special S2A or the Extra 330LX.

The award will also include one entry to a competition and an ongoing mentoring programme for each of the winners during their competition career. Ultimate Aerobatics is a centre of excellence for aerobatic training in the UK, run out of West London Aero Club at White Waltham Airfield.

Training will be led by Mike Collett, a previous National Champion, and his team of instructors, many of which have also represented Team GB at an international level. Ultimate Aerobatics specialises in aerobatic training for competition and a number of students have already tasted success in national championships.

Ultimate Aerobatics aircraft operate with Trig Avionics and Total UK to support the work Ultimate Aerobatics does with grass roots aviation. Support also comes from Brinkley Propellers who help keep the propellers turning on their fleet of aircraft.

The application process is simple and the entry requirements, together with the terms and conditions, can be found on the Ultimate Aerobatics website: www.ultimateaerobtics.co.uk
