Airbox Aerospace has released its RunwayHD 2.0 planning and navigation app.
According to the company, new feature of the app include a full screen mode, faster and smoother scrolling, and document management – enabling the user to create an EFB from within the app.
Additionally, Custom overlay support allows users to add new overlays such as Live European Lighting Strike data and live European rainfall.
The company says that it has also improved the app’s airspace warnings to make them clearer, as well as giving users the ability to minimise them.
“Many of the features included in version 2.0 of RunwayHD are there because of the work we’ve been doing with the emergency services, police and army over the past 12 months,” said Airbox technical director William Moore, “and the rest comes from the constant feedback we receive from our GA customers across the world.”
