ABOVE: Harriet Pound will return to host the upcoming second series
Flying charity Aerobility is launching season two of its online interview series, ‘Inspire-Ability,’ featuring stories from ‘some of the most inspirational figures in aviation’.
The upcoming second season includes interviews with nine guests, each sharing experiences and revelations from both their perosnal lives and aviaiton careers. Hosting each episode is Harriett Pound, an Airbus A320 captain for a major European airline, who is returning to her second series in the role.
“Our aim for the series is to highlight the remarkable stories that often go untold,” highlighted Aerobility CEO Mike Miller-Smith. “Each episode is an opportunity to celebrate the resilience, passion and diversity within the aviation community, We cannot wait for you to see it.”
The first episode, featuring former A320 captain Emma Henderson MBE, will air on Friday 12 January on Aerobility’s YouTube channel. Emma is the founder and CEO of ‘Project Wingman’, a charity established in 2020 to support NHS care workers with their mental health. Other upcoming guests include Kanchana Gamage, founder of the Aviatrix Project, and former Army doctor and retired navigator Dr. Catherine Ruddick.
Episodes will be released every Friday at 16:00 on Aerobility’s YouTube channel, as well as on major platforms as a podcast.
