The British Aerobatic Association (BAeA) is offering a 50-minute flight experience in a two seat Spitfire (T9) provided by Boultbee Flight Academy together with an overnight stay with dinner for two at Goodwood Hotel as the prize in the first of its newly registered lottery draws

The lottery tickets for this amazing prize (worth over £4000) cost £20 each and participants will have a 1 in 1000 chance of winning. Proceeds from the lottery will go towards the British Aerobatics’ team (power and glider) training and support fund in preparation for European and World Championships.

A donation will also be made to the registered charity Aerobility, who facilitate a range of flying training and flying experiences for disabled people.

BAeA Chairman Steve Todd said: “This is a great fundraising initiative which invites everyone to be a part of helping our talented British pilots continue competing for individual and team medals at aerobatic championships around the world.

“Here is your chance to help us provide that little bit of extra support needed to take on the best and bring back a medal.”

The Lottery tickets can be obtained by emailing lottery@aerobatics.org.uk. The BAeA request no person under the age of 16 years is permitted to purchase or sell lottery tickets. The winner of the Spitfire trip must be over 18 years of age, other terms and conditions apply including height and weight restrictions.

The lottery draw will take place on Wednesday 14 March 2018 at the offices of Aerobility, Blackbushe Airport, Camberley, Surrey. The winner will take off from Goodwood Aerodrome.
