Canada-based The Royal Flying Corps School recently announced a rare opportunity to hire and fly a full-scale replica of one of the most famous fighters of WWI. The school owns and operates Sopwith Camel C-FGHT, which is a full-scale replica of a Camel F.1, powered by a 165hp Warner Super Scarab radial. This gives Hotel Tango a wing loading and power-to- weight ratio similar to a genuine Camel F.1, but without the idiosyncrasies and handling difficulties of a Bentley rotary.
