Brighton City Airport-based FTA Global (FTA) is preparing to make significant future capital investment in UK pilot training, with the first major step in the company’s plan being the announcement that respected aviation veteran Anthony Petteford has joined the company as Strategic Advisor.
Petteford has previously both led and invested in prestigious ab-initio pilot training industry brands, including Oxford Aviation Academy (now CAE) and CTC Aviation (now L3Harris). His 26-year CV includes overseeing the training of over 10,000 cadets; developing award- winning ATPL multimedia; launching the inaugural MPL to the UK with Flybe and easyJet; and gaining global ATO approvals with international regulators, including the USA, Asia and Australia/NZ.
