Flying will continue at Wellesbourne Airfield after an agreement between Stratford District Council and the owners of the airfield was renewed, with the inclusion of specific aviation- related requirements. The renewal of the agreement is in force for the next two years ‘or until such other date as the Parties may otherwise agree in writing’.
Several key requirements are laid out in the new document. Specifically, the airfield will continue to offer navigation aids, a flight information service, fire services (during licensed hours), flight training and a flying club.
