London Southend Airport is offering again its winter deal for General Aviation pilots which allows ‘touch-and-go’ circuits at the price of £6 each. The offer allows pilot circuit training at the Essex airport from 21 November 2022 to 31 March 2023. To qualify, aircraft must weigh less than 2.4 tonnes and pay an initial landing fee of £6 (instead of the regular landing fee of £24 plus VAT per tonne). Each touch-and- go thereafter is £6, with no minimum or maximum number of circuits.
Note that booking is essential. To participate, pilots must contact London Southend Airport Air Traffic Control on +44 (0)1702 538 420, quoting ‘Circuits for £6’.
