Based at Heathrow and reporting to the Director of Claims (UK), this is an exciting opportunity for a General/Light Aircraft Aviation Adjuster/Surveyor to join our team. You will undertake accident and incident survey and claims management, from occurrence through to closure. The role will require national and occasional international travel often at short notice.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Performing survey work (technical appraisals and
inspections) of all types of aircraft, reporting and making
recommendations to a technical and non-technical
community
Project manage files and work in progress
Manage and forge strong partnerships with key customers
whilst leading and building client relationships
Identify and contribute to new business opportunities and
develop awareness of market and competitor activities,
providing relevant reports and information
Carry out general PR activities, particularly in the London
Market on our behalf
Undertake consultancy work and other ad hoc projects, as
required
Remain up to date with all aviation issues and regulations
Successful candidates will hold recognised maintenance
qualifications/licence and will have experience or hold type-ratings on a number of different aircraft types. Experience of
preparing accurate aircraft structural assessments or accident
repair reports along with a proven track record of managing
and delivering projects is essential.
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and
computer literacy is essential. Experience of managing
and delivering operational work, leading and negotiating
contracts with clients and other parties would be
advantageous.
