After making an initial announcement in February this year, Cessna has now relaunched the turbocharged version of its popular C182 Skylane. On its website, the company says that the aircraft can climb at ‘1,040fpm to a maximum cruising altitude of 20,000ft, and then maintain its full 235hp’ thanks to the turbocharger. The maximum cruise speed is reported as 165kt, and the range as 971nm.
The turbocharged version of the Skylane had been discontinued in 2013, but Cessna decided to bring it back to market due to strong demand.
