The Alice ‘technology demonstrator’ successfully completed its first flight in October at Washington’s Grant County International Airport. The fully electric aircraft flew for eight minutes, reaching an altitude of 3,500ft, and the company reported that the flight went according to plan.
The Alice is a small commuter/utility aircraft, with a useful load of 1,134kg for the nine-passenger commuter variant and 1,180kg for the cargo version. It is expected to have a top speed of 160kt and a 250nm range, with deliveries beginning in 2027.
