ABOVE: Jetson said that ‘the Tuscan [location] allows for perfect flight-testing conditions’
The Swedish eVTOL maker Jetson has opened a new testing facility in Italy near Arezzo, in the Tuscany region. The company said ‘The Tuscan climate allows for perfect flight-testing conditions and the 800-metre airstrip [on the site] means we can continue to fly daily’.
The company makes the Jetson One, a ‘personal eVTOL’ intended to make flying easy even for people with limited flying experience. The aircraft is on sale for less than $100,000 and all the productions slots until the end of 2023 have reportedly already sold out.
