Six pairs of tickets to be won for show at end of June

Ifyou’d like to win tickets to the event then emailkirsten.corrigan@pilotweb.aero and the first six will get a pair of tickets –it’s that easy!Oneof the largest military shows in the UK takes place at Kemble airfield,near Cirencester, on Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June 2008.The three days will be packed with exhibits and special events for allthe family – all with a military theme.Last year, the aircraftof the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was one of the highlights ofthe show and, in what is the 90th anniversary year of the RAF, itreturns for 2008 with a Dakota fly-past on Saturday 28 June. On each ofthe three days, there will be a small air display of military aircraft.Onthe ground, 25 static aircraft will be displayed, including a selectionof Hornet Moths, Piper Cubs and Terriers as well as a T28 and Nord1002.  More than 800 military and classic vehicles will also bepresent – armoured vehicles, Jeeps, classic cars and motorcycles.Members of the Military Vehicle Trust (MVT), which will celebrate its40th anniversary at the Kemble Military Show 2008, will own many ofthese vehicles. A registered charity and the oldest military vehicleclub in the world, MVT members have vehicles from pre-First World Warto the present day, from bicycles to tanks and from just about everymanufacturing country in the world. All are proud of the standard oftheir vehicles, which is reflected in the frequent requests forvehicles for film and TV work.Many army regiments and wartimeveterans, including Chelsea Pensioners, will be at the Kemble MilitaryShow 2008 together with military bands.Finally, for the bargain hunter and collector of militaria, there will be many trade stands to browse.JohnKeedwell, director of the Kemble Military Show 2008, says: “Each year,we make the show bigger and better and for 2008 we’ve surpassedourselves.
