We’re told the V:One Waverider jacket has been designed following requests by paraglider and microlight pilots. It’s a high quality, coated micro fibre ‘blouson’-style jacket that incorporates a V:One Seamax manually operated 150N inflatable lifejacket. It has a waterproof hood that packs away in the collar, deep zip pockets and a chest pocket for a radio, mobile phone or PLB, and emergency whistle and reflective tapes on the shoulders — yet it looks and feels more like an item of outdoor gear than a flotation device.
