First two students complete their commercial training in just 3 months
CADET pilots Miguel Cooper and Alastair Yardy are the first Atlantic Airlines students to have completed their commercial flight training at Multiflight, Leeds.Mike McKenzie, Multiflight Flight Training Centre Manager said, “We were very pleased to have been chosen by Atlantic Airlines to run the selection and training of their cadets. Both Miguel and Alastair have been star students and have completed their Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL), Multi Engine Piston Rating (MEP), Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training with us here at Multiflight within just three months.”Russell Ladkin, Managing Director of Atlantic Airlines, commented, “Multiflight is a first class flight training centre and the perfect partner to run our cadet pilot scheme.”The Atlantic Airlines’ scheme is unique in that it is totally funded by Atlantic Airlines, with 50 per cent of the cost paid for by Atlantic Airlines and the other 50 per cent bonded to candidates for five years: encouraging them to stay with Atlantic for at least this period.All successful cadets are guaranteed a job with Atlantic Airlines on completion of the programme, which includes type and line training, as a Commercial Pilot on one of Atlantic Airlines’ aircraft types.Further cadet pilots have now been selected and will undergo their commercial flight training with Multiflight, and applications are invited from anyone interested in taking part in the scheme.
