SkyDemon 2.4 VFR and flight-planning software has been released for iPad, PC and mobile devices.
SkyDemon 2.4 VFR and flight-planning software has been released for iPad, PC and mobile devices.
AIP plates (IFR and VFR) from across Europe are included as standard and are delivered automatically as a route is planned.
In addition, VFR plates from AFE in the UK, DFS in Germany and AvioPortolano in Italy will soon be available, but will require separate purchase.
Cloud storage is also available to subscribers and evaluators – enabling them to save routes and aircraft definitions on SkyDemon’s server. This simplifies the process of transferring routes from one device to another.
Other features of SkyDemon 2.4 include Glidesafe – which depicts an aircraft’s glide range in all directions, based on local conditions, and turns on automatically over water – and the ability to hide airspace a configurable distance above and below your level in order to make charts clearer.
