3-4 May Microlight Trade Fair rescheduled due to waterlogged airfield
The Popham Microlight event, due to have taken place this weekend 3-4 May and the Aero/Auto Jumble (due on Monday) have been cancelled due to the amount of rainfall over the last few days at the Hampshire airfield. Popham’s website says the airfield is totally waterlogged and current forecasts predict that it will NOT dry out before the weekend. The event is re-scheduled for 2 and 3 August. The airfield says if anyone does fly in this weekend they will still get a free landing, but to check before flying, because the field may still be too wet to use.www.popham-airfield.co.uk
