All pilots flying to Stapleford between 14 July and 15 August will be affected by the Olympic Airspace Restrictions.
This is because the airfield is situated within the Restricted Zone and close to the Prohibited Zone.
A temporary circuit pattern will be put in place and there will be a limit on the number of aircraft in the circuit.
Additionally, flights leaving Stapleford ATZ will need to file a flight plan a minimum of two hours before departure, and need to be in receipt of approval and a squawk from ATLAS control.
The recommended exit and re-entry route from the Restricted Zone will be via Tiptree (N514816 E0004405). Points of exit and re-entry will be required in the Flight Plan.
For the duration of the restrictions Stapleford will be taking booking slots for training and private hire between 0800 and 2000.
