Book now for the event in September
THE world famous Red Arrows are coming to the Kendleshire Golf Club near Bristol on Tuesday 29 September to play golf with any pilot who wants to try their skill at beating the superb hand and eye co-ordination of the RAF’s world class aerobatic display team. In addition, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight aircrew will be joining the Red Arrows for this exclusive event. The Golf Day is to raise funds exclusively for fly2help – the Gloucestershire based flying charity that supports people facing illness, tragedy or life trauma. Golfers can opt to create an exclusive team of three players with a Red Arrow or BBMF member playing in their team, can choose to support individual or a pair of places towards a team, or sponsor part of the games through longest drive, nearest the pin, or hole sponsorship. All money raised will go to fly2help. Mandy Pantall, Marketing and Fundraising Director of fly2help says, “We are honoured to have the support of the Red Arrows and this is set to be a truly fantastic event. Playing a round of golf with the iconic and world renowned team, is rare opportunity for any golfer, but entrants can also enjoy the added bonus of knowing that their participation in the competition will mean fly2help can continue to turn ordinary days in extraordinary adventures for some very special and brave people!”As the afternoon of golf draws to a close, it will be all eyes to the skies for a private display of the Rolls-Royce owned Mk19 Supermarine Spitfire. Players can then enjoy the opportunity to socialise with the Red Arrows and members of the BBMF over an early evening two-course dinner and prize giving. We are also most grateful to the internationally respected wildlife and aviation artist Mandy Shepherd, who is generously donating an original painting to the fundraising raffle.Bookings can be made online via the fly2help website homepage www.fly2help.org or by calling 01285 770821 for more information.
