This book is a well designed and excellent way for any IMC candidate to prepare for the theoretical part of the CAA IMC examination.

VERY SIMILAR IN format to the PPL Q & A book, (except for the fact that it doesn’t even mention JAR, since the IMC Rating is a UK only qualification) this exam guide again replicates the CAA exam format. Each set of questions has the same number of multiple choice questions and the same time limit as the CAA exam itself. Each question is given a complete answer, with an explanation (where necessary) of how the answer is reached, and references are also given where the reader can ferret out further information as required. This book again is a well designed and excellent way for any IMC candidate to prepare for the theoretical part of the CAA IMC examination. I would be surprised if any pilot, who revised with the aid of this book and reached the stage of achieving around 75 per cent in these tests, would have the slightest problem about passing the real examination with (instrument) flying colours.
