iAeronautical has increased the coverage of its flight planning app to ten countries.
The iPad app will now include information for general aviation pilots wishing to fly in Ireland, Denmark, Spain, Austria and Switzerland, as well as the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The company said in a press release: “These new country databases have gone through the same comprehensive development and rigorous checking as our existing countries. They include a full, up to date set of all of the available Eurocontrol charts, the AIP’s obstacle database, as well as the aerodromes, navaids, airspaces and other items one would expect to see.
“The maps are fully interactive, just by double-tapping anywhere on the maps, a wealth of detail on each aeronautical feature is available. It is our intention to update these new countries every 28 days, so pilots can always be confident they have access to the latest charts and information available.”
