The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) reached an agreement with NATS Aeronautical Information Service, publisher of all UK airspace charts, to provide complimentary copies of the Olympics chart for anyone who buys the regular VFR chart for South East England. The initiative will be funded by the CAA, NATS and the Department for Transport.From Spring 2012, copies of the chart will also be available for free download as a pdf document from the Airspace & Safety Initiative’s Olympics website: www.airspacesafety.com/olympics The official latitudes and longitudes for the temporary Olympics airspace restrictions around London and Weymouth can now be downloaded at /www.airspacesafety.com/olympics. The restrictions in other areas will be published in early 2012.
